Classify your furnished accommodation located in Isola and Isola 2000

A local service for property owners in the backcountry

Facing difficulties in accessing control organizations in the Tinée and Vésubie valleys, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office has developed a tailored solution to assist you. From now on, you benefit from a single local contact who simplifies all your classification procedures.

Approved by Atout France after an AFNOR audit, our office is authorized to conduct control visits and issue your tourist rental classification.

What is a tourist rental?

It is a furnished residence rented for the exclusive use of the tenant, either permanently or seasonally (by the day, week, or month). It accommodates transient guests who stay there for their vacation or holiday, without establishing their primary residence there.

Your legal obligations for seasonal rentals

Whether your accommodation is classified or not, regulations require you to:

  • Declare your rental to your municipality’s town hall (or face a fine of up to €450)
  • Collect the tourist tax from your tenants and remit it to the metropolitan tourist tax service

The advantages of classification for your business

Attractive tax benefits

Tax optimization: Enjoy a flat-rate deduction of 71% on your rental income (ceiling of €82,800 excluding VAT under micro-BIC), compared to only 50% for non-classified rentals (ceiling of €33,200 excluding VAT).

Advantageous tourist tax: Benefit from a simplified and generally more economical calculation method for your tenants.

Decisive commercial advantages

Official quality label: Reassure your clients with a national classification that guarantees the level of comfort and equipment of your accommodation.

Access to holiday vouchers: Expand your clientele by reaching 10 million potential vacationers. Holiday vouchers constitute a secure payment method, reimbursed within three weeks by ANCV.
