HIKING AND SNOWSHOEING

Lombarde

This path, will lead you to the « col de la lombarde » pass that connects the « Tinée » valley and the Italian valley.

During your walk, you will see military constructions built when Isola was part of the Italian territory.

Once up, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of both countries.

Pelevos

This path will lead you on a beautiful and safe way. You wiIl go through the forest and walk along the river.

For this walk , you must buy a pedestrian pass bought at the ski lift checkout.

Then, you need to take the « Pelevos telecabine » .

Once on the top, you can take the route on the left and get off at the station.

You can do this itinerary without using the telecabine.

Instead, you must start your walk past the chapel.

Once in the chapel, go down a slope to the right and follow the sign.

Grizzly

You can do a little loop in the woods.

This path leads you to the reservoir (retenue collinaire).

This reservoir is a water storage facility used to supply snow cannons.

Explor Games

The tourist office proposes a playful and immersive outing in snowshoes.

On this journey, step into the shoes of a hero and discover the mystery of Isola 2000.

You will have to perform puzzles and challenges but this path is also a chance to enjoy beautiful snowy scenery.

A snowshoe tour with a mountain guide lets you discover the wildlife and the mountain environment.

Richard proposes various hikes with observations of chamois and explanations on the mountain in winter and information on the historical and military heritage.

The program is suitable for everyone, sporty people, but also for families with children (4 years old minimun )

• Little trapper : It is a fun and easy way to discover the nature.. This hike is accessible to all from 6 years.. We will go looking for animal borrowings around the station. We will also learn the acts of survival and how to make fire in the snow. After this hike, you will be hungry, so we will eat a snack all together.
• Zen and wellness hike : A morning or a day of gentle snowshoeing to reconnect with yourself and with nature, to awaken your senses and to recharge your batteries thanks to the magic of the place and the energy of the living
• Explor Game : Every Thursday the tourist office and the Guide Tinée Mercantour offers you a fun and immersive hike.
