Information on Metropolitan Roads
Due to adverse weather conditions, the Col de la Lombarde (RM 97 – Isola) is closed in both directions, starting Wednesday, September 24, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., for an indefinite period.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the Col de la Bonette road (RM2205 – St-Dalmas le-Selvage) will be closed in both directions, after Bousiéyas, at night (8:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.), starting Monday, September 22, 2025, for an indefinite period.
Previously closed due to a landslide, the RM 2205 (Tournefort) is reopened in both directions of traffic on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Chains or winter tyres will be mandatory in mountainous areas.

All vehicles must be fitted with snow tyres, all-season tyres or chains from 1 November 2024 to 31 March 2025.
The obligation concerns light and commercial vehicles, motor homes, heavy goods vehicles and coaches travelling in areas established by the prefects. Their drivers must: carry removable anti-skid devices (metal or textile snow chains) in their trunks to equip at least two driving wheels or be equipped with four “winter tyres”.
