A nature weekend like no other
Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, an amateur photographer or simply curious, the « Isola and Wildlife » event has been designed for all mountain lovers — especially the youngest ones. For two days, the resort transforms into a true faunistic exploration ground, blending immersion, education and wonder.

9:30 am – Snowshoe outing with a Mercantour National Park ranger
A snowshoe hike to collect data from a camera trap, followed by a time of observation and analysis of wildlife images.

2:30 pm – Land art
Create ephemeral works and bring wild animals to life using natural elements.
Yurt on the central square
4:00 pm – Escape game “The Bearded Vulture”
Take on the challenge with the Buse association and uncover the mysteries of this majestic bird of prey.

6:00 pm – Special screening with prize-giving ceremony
Screening of the film « 2000 Days in Paradise » by Anne and Erik Lapied, followed by the wildlife photo contest prize-giving.

Sunday
9:30 am – Snowshoe hike with a professional guide
Learn how to observe animals without disturbing them.
Registration required at the tourist office
10:30 am – Ochre painting (cave art style)
Draw and express wildlife just like in prehistoric times.

Get your hands in the soil and take home your very own seed ball, ready to be sown.

Wildlife Photo Contest
On the occasion of the 3rd edition of the « Isola and Wildlife » weekend, on 21 & 22 March, the Commune of Isola and Isola 2000, in partnership with Panajou Nice – Objectif Riviera, are organising a wildlife photo contest.
Try to win €600 worth of photography equipment offered by the Commune of Isola and Panajou Nice-Objectif Riviera, by capturing the wild fauna of our magnificent mountains!
Chamois, foxes, ibex… Who will capture the perfect shot?
