When the mountain meets carnival tradition, it creates a colorful celebration! This year, Isola 2000 and Isola village offer you three carnivals for the price of one. Come enjoy the festivities with or without a costume, for moments filled with shows, a touch of craziness, and good cheer!
Isola 2000 Carnival: the party’s in full swing at altitude (February 17 and 24)
On the slopes of Isola 2000, the carnival takes place in a dream snowy setting on February 17 and 24. On the menu for these two exceptional days: creative workshops, face painting, carnival parade with the big heads coming straight from the Nice Carnival, Disney show, Pirates of the Caribbean show, and to finish in style, a torchlight descent!
The festive atmosphere blends with the magic of the mountains to create unforgettable memories with family or friends.
Isola Village Carnival: four days of festivities (February 21 to 28)
The village of Isola welcomes you for a carnival week rich in activities. On the program, creative workshops for young and old that will punctuate these festive days.
Saturday, February 21: Making juggling balls and juggling lessons to start off gently.
Thursday, February 26: Time for creativity with the decoration of the big Carnival heads, those emblematic figures that will parade through the village streets.
Friday, February 27: Piñata creation workshop to prepare the next day’s surprises.
Saturday, February 28: The big day! Starting at 4 PM, meet for a participatory snack, face painting, the arrival of the masks, and the traditional paillassou throwing. At 5:30 PM, the parade departs for the burning of the carnival queen, followed by a friendship toast.
These festivities are open to everyone, from 0 to 99 years old! Meet at the tourist office for all practical information.
