The mysteries of Isola, the forgotten bunker, is a fun experience in the heart of our Mercantour mountains. Putting into fiction sometimes true events, it is a story of endearing characters, French and Italian, involved, despite themselves, in the trials of great history, that of the Second World War and its useless fights.

Start of the route: Departure station of the Mercantour gondola at Isola 2000 (Parking P1).
Duration: About 2h30, gondola included.
It is advisable not to start the game course after 2 p.m.
Elevation: About 250 m.
Round trip distance: 4km50.
Level: Good physical condition required, knowledge of the mountains recommended. Ridge portions can present an airy atmosphere.
Necessary equipment: Water, snack or picnic, walking shoes, clothing suitable for hiking… and of course the game booklet to be collected at the tourist office or at the ticket office of the Mercantour gondola. An application “The Forgotten Bunker” is available for download on smartphones.
