Music Week at Isola 2000: A Celebration of Creativity and Sound!
Following the L’Isola du Jazz festival, which brings the resort to life from 3 to 5 July 2026, Isola 2000 invites you to keep the music going with its Music Week. A week of free activities where children and adults alike can discover music in all its forms through creative workshops, sound-based games, singing and DJ mixing.
Workshops to awaken the ear
Young participants will discover their first musical experiences during a musical awakening workshop, set off to discover the sounds of the mountains and their wildlife, then test their listening skills with a sound quiz featuring birdsong, the murmur of mountain streams and the ringing of alpine cowbells.
Create your own instruments
Music also comes to life through creativity! Children will make their own Isola jingle tambourine or build a mountain chalet wind chime, two original creations to take home as a holiday souvenir.
Musical challenges for the whole family
Music quizzes, musical chairs, listening games and rhythm challenges: the Musical Olympics promise a fun-filled afternoon packed with laughter, teamwork and friendly competition.
Become a DJ
One of the week’s highlights, the DJ Kids mini-course will introduce young music lovers to the basics of DJing on a real stage. After learning how to mix tracks, set the rhythm and create a musical atmosphere, they will showcase their new skills during a live public performance on the snow front stage.
The joy of singing together
Music will also come alive in Isola Village with a choir workshop, open to anyone wishing to discover—or rediscover—the pleasure of singing together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
A week to extend the festival spirit
After the concerts of L’Isola du Jazz, this themed week offers a new way to experience music: by creating it, listening to it, singing it, mixing it and sharing it. A family-friendly programme inviting everyone to become part of this wonderful musical experience in the heart of the mountains.
