Il Rifugio Isola 2000
Il Rifugio is the only Italian restaurant in Isola 2000.
Chef Silvio, co-owner of the restaurant, is well known on the French Riviera where he works at Le Cabanon, Plage du Buse in Roquebrune Cap-Martin. Chef Silvio also has experience in Swiss, Austrian and Italian mountain resorts, including Les 2-Alpes, Crans-Montana, Lienz, San Candido.
Il Rifugio offers Italian mountain cuisine (Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta) with polenta, Taglioni with porcini mushrooms, Chef Silvio’s famous ciappa and much more. All the desserts (except for the ice cream) are home-made.
Above all, don’t leave il Rifugio without tasting a Bombardino, the cocktail made famous in the Dolomites and which will make you hurtle down the slopes of Isola 2000 with a big smile (to be consumed in moderation of course!).
